She wanted to scretch her wings out, but there still wasn't enough room in the crammed room. The whitecoat grabbed Arin's wrist and walked briskly down a narrow hallway. After about ten minutes Arin was shoved into a dimly lit room that had two others in it- the dark-haired girl from before and a blonde whitecoat with a clipboard and a pen. A thin beam of light peered through a small crack above her. Arin sighed and stroked her tawny colored wings. She looked through the bars of her crate. Beside her, in a much smaller cage sat a little girl with red hair that was like a curtain of blood covering her face. She had little white wings that curled around her. She can't be much older than 4. Arin thought,hugging her knees and feeling sympathy for the little girl.
